  • Omega Eta promotes Sigma at collaboration event

    We were able to promote Sigma Omega Eta at a collaboration event with the senior nursing students from Wilson College and Franklin County Career Technology Center Practical Nursing Program on October 4, 20215. We provided the morning snack, shared values of Sigma, and promoted the Cynthia Clark Award, emphasizing the value of nursing civility.

  • Omega Eta receives the 2025 Chapter Key Award!

    I am pleased to announce that Omega Eta received the 2025 Chapter Key Award! This is a first for our chapter. Thank you to Jan Collier, our past president, who worked hard to ensure this success!

  • Sigma Omega Eta sponsored a lunch at the ATI Kick Off for first-year students at Wilson College

    Thank you, Omega Eta, for sponsoring the lunch at the ATI Kick Off on August 25, 2025, for the first-year students at Wilson College. The ATI Student Champions introduced the first-year students to the ATI learning program, promoting its benefits and functionality. With lunch provided, the students were able to focus on the training.

  • First Cynthia Clark Award sponsored by Omega Eta

    Congratulations to the first Cynthia Clark Award recipient, Chelsye Dunlap, on August 28, 2025, at the Franklin County Career and Technology Center Practical Nursing Program. The Cynthia Clark Award was sponsored by the Wilson College Sigma chapter, Omega Eta, and given to the student who, in the opinion of the faculty, best exemplified civility throughout their time in the practical nursing program.

    Hello to all Sigma Omega Eta Members,

    I just sent an email to you to announce the Chapter Board and Committee Chairs/members for 2025 - 2026.

    You will receive a link that will inform you via a survey format.  It will only take 3 minutes to complete the survey.

    Additionally listed are the chapter accomplishments and areas to improve for next year.

  • Omega Eta 2025 Research Event - A success !

    Hello, 

    The Research Event was a success.  There were three excellent presentations and a sizeable crowd of participants who learned lots, and asked lots of great questions.

    After the presentations, the winners of the Silent Auction were announced and.... $710 was raised to support inductee scholarships and student awards.

    A Social followed with lots of yummy "pot luck" food and time to relax and network and have fun.

    Thank you to so many for their time, talent, and dedication for making this a successful event.  

    Perhaps you would like to learn more about the research process or get started.  We have plenty of experts in the membership - so reach out to anyone.

  • Omega Eta Silent Auction

    Wilson College’s Sigma Omega Eta is having a silent auction to raise money for student support, such as need-based Sigma membership grants. etc.

    Items are displayed on the Wilson College campus in the Nursing Resource Center. Feel free to stop by and complete an auction form to bid on an item.

    Minimum bid for gift cards should be the value of the gift card.

    Deadline: March 24, 2025, at 4 pm

    Winners will be announced during the Sigma Omega Eta Research Event at the Nursing Resource Center on    March 24, 2025, 4-5 pm. Attendance is not required to win.

    If you are not able to come to the Nursing Resource Center, you can still participate. Below are the items for the auction. To bid, simply email:
